The dish is designed by 9 year old Tait and includes a flat iron steak, rice noodles, edamame beans, pak choi & rice cracker.

“Super Steak” by Tait, aged 9 (From ‘Come Dine with ECHC’)
What first seemed like a simple bug quickly became every parent’s worst nightmare when tests revealed that Tait’s older brother Kit had cancer, and treatment had to begin immediately. For months, the family lived in Edinburgh’s Children’s Hospital.

Through every difficult moment, ECHC was to support the whole family. They stood beside his parents, cared for Kit, and made sure his brother, Tait, felt included and seen, creating special memories along the way, even celebrating his birthday in hospital. They also helped Kit stay connected to the things he loves, bringing moments of happiness and normality during treatment.

“Super Steak”, was created by Kit’s brother, Tait. Inspired by his love of spooky galaxies and superhero adventures, Tait designed this out-of-this-world dish especially for his brother. Packed with imagination, heart, and a little cosmic magic, “Super Steak” is a tribute to sibling love at its strongest.
